Augustus Tolton Catholic Academy Closed Due to Corvid-19

It is with great sadness and an abundance of caution that we announce Augustus Tolton Catholic Academy (ATCA) will close indefinitely for cleaning and safety precautions, beginning Monday, March 16, to guard against the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

All extracurricular and social activities have been suspended as well, including athletics.
ATCA understands how hard this is on our community, but we are faced with unprecedented global, national, and now local pressure to respond proactively. We will move all instruction online and will communicate via email and school messenger to keep parents informed as we maintain our educational focus. While this is not ideal, we need to make sure our students remain engaged in quality educational experiences. Teachers will communicate via email and Google classroom in the coming days.

While there are no confirmed cases in our immediate community, we must remain vigilant during these times of uncertainty. We will be back up and running as soon as it is deemed safe to resume. Thank you for your understanding.

Praying for our world,

Philip Bazile, Principal
